Under the lights of “4 Ristoranti”

Cameras rolling, tables set, and the aromas of authentic cuisine in the air: Carpi has recently taken center stage in the filming of 4 Ristoranti, the renowned TV format hosted by chef Alessandro Borghese.

The challenge features “Allosteria” by Alessandro Lancioni, joined by chefs Simone Sessi and Helga Veneruso—the only restaurant from Carpi selected among the four competing venues. The other contestants come from Modena, Sorbara, and Spilamberto, all chosen by the production to take part in a competition celebrating flavor and tradition.

The signature dish at the heart of the challenge is crescentine, also known as tigelle—a symbol of our Food Valley and a perfect way to celebrate the culinary identity of Emilia.

For a few days, Carpi lived to the rhythm of a TV production: Alessandro Borghese was spotted strolling through the historic squares, greeting onlookers, and embracing the convivial spirit that has always defined our land.

A valuable showcase for the region and for the culture of fine dining that characterizes our osterias and trattorias.
